Acceptance

By using this site or requesting a personalized song, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or submit a request.

Ownership & Permissions

All music, recordings, and site content are owned by What's Your Beat unless stated otherwise. When you receive a song, I'm granting you permission to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Songs may be created using AI-assisted composition tools as part of the creative process. Regardless of the tools used, every song is personally crafted, reviewed, and delivered with care.

What You Can Do

• Download and enjoy your MP3.
• Share your song with friends and family in personal contexts.
• Share official links to your song when available.

Streaming Releases & Promotion

When you request your song, you'll have the option to release it to streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others. That choice is entirely yours — opting out keeps your song completely private.

If you choose to release your song publicly, it becomes available under What's Your Beat on those platforms. By agreeing to that release, you're also giving me permission to share or promote that song on social media or in other promotional contexts — but only what's already in the public release itself. Nothing from your personal submission will ever be shared beyond what's reflected in the song.

What's Not Allowed (Without Written Permission)

• Commercial use — including ads, marketing, paid products or services, or monetized campaigns.
• Reselling, licensing, or distributing copies as your own work.
• Re-uploading the audio as if you own the rights to it (for example, as your own release).

If you'd like to use a song commercially, just reach out — licensing may be possible with written permission.

Optional Donations

Donations are voluntary and help support the mission. They do not purchase ownership, extra rights, or commercial permission.

Disclaimer of Liability

Songs and all related content are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind — express or implied. What's Your Beat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or any song delivered through it. My total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you directly paid or donated in connection with your request.

Privacy

The personal stories and contact details you share are handled according to my Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your data at any time — just check the Privacy Policy for how to reach me.

Refusal of Service & Conduct

Please use this site respectfully and lawfully. I reserve the right to refuse service or remove content if requests are abusive, unlawful, or violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of this site or any song delivered through it will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Manitoba, Canada.
